World Taekwondo (WT) President and Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation (THF) Chairman Dr. Chungwon Choue, will visit Rwanda from May 5th to 8th, 2025, his first visit to Rwanda since he takes over the helm of Taekwondo in 2004. In confirming the visit of Dr. Chungwon Choue, Rwanda Taekwondo Federation said that the purpose of the visit is to observe and support THF’s ongoing Taekwondo activities in Rwanda’s refugee camps, particularly in Mahama Refugee Camp. During the visit, Dr Choue will meet the Ministry of Sports high officials, Rwanda National Olympic and Sports Committee and International Olympic Committee representatives.
